Court House Clinics use a range of laser systems to provide the best long term solution to unwanted hair. The treatment will be carried out by fully qualified nurses or medical aestheticians who can advise you on the best course of treatment.
The laser energy is absorbed by the hair which creates a heat that destroys the hair root without causing damage to the skin. The light is quickly passed over the area, treating many hairs at one time.
Hair grows in cycles. These cycles are known as anagen (growing), telogen (resting) and catogen (dying).
In order for the treatment to be effective the hairs must be at the anagen stage. The number of treatments needed will depend upon the hair density, colour, skin type and treatment area, together with ethnic background and hormones. Typically 6 or 8 treatments are required in a white skin and approximately 8 or 10 in a darker skin.
Laser Hair Removal for Black and Asian Skins
Many lasers used for hair removal cannot be used on black or Asian skin types as they burn the skin, but Court House Clinics use technology that works safely for all skin types and colours.
